The Learning Trail is located at 57 Gravelly Brook Rd, Kennebunkport, ME 04046, (207) 967-3465. Parking is available in the lot next to the Trust building. The Trail is accessible from the Emmons Preserve network of trails, a short distance down the Mark and Gail Roller Trail.

Trail Rules

Stay On Marked Trails
Stay on existing trails and do not trespass on private land. Do not create new trails or cut switchbacks.

Respect trail and road closures.
Please avoid use in wet conditions as soft trails are vulnerable to damage.

Leave No Trace
Be sure to pack out at least as much as you pack in.

Take No Souvenirs
Please do not take plants, animals, rocks, wood or other flora or fauna. Areas outside the marked trails should be left untouched.

Control Your Pet
Pets must be on leash or under voice control. Take all pet waste with you. DO NOT leave pet waste in bags on the trail or in the parking lot.

Control Your Equipment
Ride and ski within your limits. Do your utmost to let your fellow trail users know you're coming. Cyclists should yield to hikers, skiers and snowshoers.

Never Scare Animals
Animals are easily startled by an unannounced approach, sudden movement, or loud noise. Give wildlife enough room and time to adjust to you.

Plan Ahead
Know your equipment, your ability and the trail. Be prepared for changes in weather. Riders, always wear a helmet and appropriate safety gear.

No Horses or Motorized Vehicles
Prevent trail erosion and enjoy the quiet of the woods.
